Description
Toric or inverse geometry GP lens with 4 fitting zones for stabilization or gradual toric peripheral fitting
In contact lens fitting, it’s known that when normal geometries do not succeed the desired stabilization or centration, inverse geometry is used (secondary curve, steeper that the base curve). The Epsilon PK 4 zones design comes to cover all those cases, integrating back and/or front toric correction.
Indications:
Post keratoplasty, corneal shapes with increased height differences at various quadrants, high toric anterior corneas
Available parameters:
Base curves: 7.00 to 9.60 in 0.10mm steps
Astigmatism: Up to 12.00D depending on the fitting modality
Toric periphery: 0.20 to 1.00 mm in 0.10 steps
Diopters: +40.00 to -35.00 in 0.25 D steps
Front toric optics : up to 6.00 D in 0.25 steps
Optics eccentricity: -0.70 to 0.70 in 0.05 steps
Diameters: 9.50 to 12.50 mm in 0.10 steps
Materials: High Dk 100, Medium Dk 50
It’s the first lens choice for cases succeeding penetrating keratoplasty, when a graft is positioned higher than the patient’s corneal shape.
In certain cases, diameters up to 12.50 mm are used to obtain better centration and optical correction.
