The Epsilon SCLERAL lens design is fitted in any case of ectatic cornea or any case presenting asymmetric astigmatism. It’s the ideal solution for abnormal astigmatisms when the rest of the lens designs offered by EYEART Laboaratories do not satisfy the patients’ expectation, or the lids’ position and tension alter the desired fit.

Keratoconus, asymmetric astigmatism, post keratoplasty, post trauma, sensitive to rotation astigmatism, corneal prostection

Sagittal heights: 4250 to 6450 microns in 50 microns steps
Sphere: +25.00 to -35.00 in 0.25 D steps
Front toricity: up to 6.00 D in 0.25 steps
Optics eccentricity: -0.70 to 0.70 in 0.05 steps
Diameters: 16.50 to 18.00 mm in 0.50 mm steps
Fitting geometry: Six custom aspheric/toric/quadrant specific curves curves in 50 microns steps
Material: High Dk 100
Scleral lens fitting is known for solving any issues present with corneal lenses in terms of stabilization. Additionally, due to the material stability and stable positioning, scleral lenses offer the maximum optical performance, except for the case when corneal apex heavy bearing is chosen by the fitter.
